GRCHub allows users to escalate incidents into crisis events, ensuring a structured response to critical disruptions through the Crisis Management Workflow.

Steps to Promote an Incident to a Crisis Event:

  1. Open the Incident Details page.
  2. Scroll down and check the "Promote to Crisis Event" box.
  3. This triggers the Crisis Management Workflow, enabling users to:
Activate a Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Plan for structured recovery.
Notify stakeholders and assign response teams.
Track recovery actions and monitor crisis resolution progress.

Example Use Cases:

1. A ransomware attack on a financial institution is escalated to a crisis event, triggering the Cyber Incident Response Plan and notifying IT security teams.
2. A supply chain disruption due to a natural disaster is promoted to a crisis, activating contingency plans and notifying logistics teams for alternate routing.

GRCHub ensures efficient crisis response, helping organizations minimize impact, coordinate recovery efforts, and maintain business continuity.
